Before the procedure, we can apply numbing cream to the treated area at your request. Your healthcare professional will clean your skin with a gentle antiseptic solution and administer the injections with a very fine needle. If you don’t like needles we dedicate extra time and effort to make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed. You will be asked to move the muscles in your face so the doctor can carefully assess your anatomy and determine the best places for the injections.

Immediately after the procedure, most patients will have little red bumps in the areas where the injections were placed. These disappear quickly and most people are not bothered by them - they resume their normal daily activities immediately. However, we would recommend that you do not plan any important social occasions immediately after the procedure, to allow yourself time to recover.
